Advanced Astronomy

 

This class is for anyone who wish to delve into the depth of Astronomy (hence the name). We recommend that you participate in the “Introduction to Astronomy” before attending this course; however, it is not required. This course is perfect for anyone who has a fervor in Astronomy, and is willing to learn about some of the deeper and more complex sides to space and Astronomy. Please note that this course does require some mathematical knowledge; preferably, to be very comfortable with Algebra.

  • This course is open to everyone, but you are strongly encouraged to have background knowledge in algebra, physics, and basic astronomy, and be interested in learning the topics listed in the course catalog.

  • All ages can apply to in-depth astronomy, but we strongly recommend a solid understanding of algebra as math and physics are included in this course.

  • Our astronomy courses are starting off as daily 1-2 hour daily summer classes lasting for around two weeks. Specific information like time will be provided as we get to early summer.
